Evaluative Question 7 - Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Since creating my school magazine, I feel have come on leaps and bounds within the terms of my personal knowledge of technology, in specific, Photoshop. I have learnt an extraordinary amount since the beginning of the course and have further extended my knowledge of how to use photoshop successfully. For example i know how to make certain elements of my magazine stand out more by using drop shadows and outer glows. Additionally, I was able to use the Lasso tool to cut out a figure of a person without the background and put it in my music magazine contents page, giving it a 3D edge and helping it to become more dynamic. I have learnt how to manage and control layers in photoshop more effectively, as well as improving my visual appeal with discovering new and more intriguing fonts and styles of writing.

My knowledge of the software has developed massively from having an understanding of the basics, to having an in-depth knowledge of how to use it effectively, resulting in producing a proffesional looking magazine using it.
