This is my music magazine logo. It is bold, contrasting and fits with the purpose of the magazine. My inspiration for the logo came from Q music magazine. The red background and simple font really stood out and i wanted to try and achieve that effect in my own way. Furthermore, i was trying to find something that fit in with the genre of popular chart music and i thought this to be the most suited option. The MB logo, i hope would be unique and make the magazine known as MB magazine. Here is the logo for Q magazine for which i got the inspiration for mine:
As you can see, the design is fairly similar. I opted for a easier, simpler layout and idea, as that seems to be the most popular with Q magazine being my idol, and being so popular within the industry of music.
I believe my magazine to be able to be distributed nationwide, in all sorts of shops and distributors. Businesses renound for their magazine content such as WHSMITH would be ideal, and i believe it would appeal to the right target audience. Furthermore, local newsagents who are keen distributors of magazine of all genres, music sports etc, would find my magazine very suitable for their shelves. It appeals to those who are in touch with modern, chart music, so therefore I think that it can sell in just about any magazine distributor in the country!
